The Advanced Math Program is a math enrichment program for students in grades 5, 6 and 7. This program was developed by parent volunteers, working with educators, in the Highline School District #401, Seattle, WA. The schedule is specific to the Highline School District, but serves as a template to deliver these same concepts to any student in any school, including home-school.

Online Math Courses

Math.com One-Minute Math - Free courses in pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry.

Child U - Self-paced online learning (K-8)

Virtual School for the Gifted - Eclectic assortment of supplemental classes for primary and secondary students. Math classes include programming, fractals, and puzzles.

The Internet School - Full K-12 curriculum offered online.

Choice 2000 Charter School - Considered to be the first public 7th - 12th grade school to be both fully online and WASC accredited. Math classes offered are 7th and 8th grade general math, high school general math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra II, and Trigonometry. The courses are free to California residents.

Babbage Net School - Credit for successfully completing a high school level course is granted by a student's local school district. Classes offered are Sequential Math I, Life Skills Math, Sequential Math III, and General Math.

Zipstar - Zipstar's full 7th-12th grade curriculum is based on National Standards and the Virginia Standards of Learning. For student's without a computer, classes can be accessed through various community centers throughout Virginia.

Math Courses Online - Self-paced courses in basic math, test preparation, and high school subjects. A certificate of completion is issued when you finish the course that may be accepted by some high schools.

Qadosh Tutorial Service - Christian based tutorials for home-schooled students. Offers Algebra 2, Advanced Math, Calculus, and Directed Studies.

North Dakota Center for Distance Education - Regionally accredited through the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) and is a member of the Independent Study Division of the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA). The online courses are $73.00 for non-residents per half credit course. Classes offered are Algebra, Consumer Math, and Intermediate Algebra.

Keystone National High School - Offers online courses in these areas: Algebra I, Algebra II, Consumer Math, Geometry, Refresher Math, and SAT Prep. Keystone National High School is a private, licensed, accredited high school.

Bob Jones University Academy of Home Education - Designed to help home school parents of children at the secondary level (grades nine through twelve) by providing a recommended course of study to be completed under the direction of the parents. Also offers a "Live Interactive Network Classroom: specific courses taught live from our headquarters to your location via satellite, with complete live interaction between your students and our teachers."

California's Bakersfield College Distance Learning Program offers the following online math courses: Intermediate Algebra, Business Calculus, Statistics, Calculus I, Calculus II, and Calculus III.

Online Math Courses - The classes are non-credit, self-paced courses offered through several California State Universities. Classes offered from Basic Math to Intermediate Algebra.

The University of Illinois at Champagne-Urbana offers math classes that are open to high school students and adult learners in addition to enrolled college students. · Calculus I · Calculus II · Introductory Matrix Theory · Calculus of Several Variables · Advanced Calculus · Differential Equations and Orthogonal Functions · Linear Transformations and Matrices The courses emphasize collaborative groupwork and mentoring, and use the software program Mathematica.

California University Online Courses - This site provides a list of all of the online math courses that are offered through California Universities. They are most likely all accredited and the cost varies by individual university.
